Realizing they have no food, Ash, Cameron, and their Pokémon are hungry, and Meloetta leaves only to return with an apple. Meloetta leads them to an apple tree where they pick apples to bring back to the cave to eat. After eating the apples (and Cameron's Riolu makes some adorable hiccups), they decide to stay overnight in the cave until the rain stops. Ash and Cameron share their life goals. Ash wants to become a Pokémon Master, while Cameron aspires to be the best Pokémon Champion in the world.
