When Munchlax eats everyone's food, a battle breaks out, which annoys some nearby Geodude who, in turn, attack the Pokémon. Pikachu, Corphish, Phanpy, Squirtle, and Munchlax get separated from the group. Meanwhile, Team Rocket convinces an Onix, who is the king of Rock-type Pokémon, that Ash and the others are bad, and Onix sends his army of Rock-type Pokémon to capture them. Unbeknownst to the Rock-type Pokémon, Team Rocket intended to use them to help steal Pikachu and the other Pokémon.
