D.J. doesn't want Danny to find out about this, so she, Kimmy, and Stephanie go to the mall to buy a replacement sweater, which costs $80, the same price as the ruined sweater. Stephanie sees a sign at the checkout that says "buy now, pay later." Not understanding that a credit card is needed to do what the sign says, Stephanie takes the sweater in an attempt to help D.J., which leads to Stephanie being accused of theft.
