Soon, Autobot City descends into chaos, and the Plasma Energy Chamber key is stolen. The battle shifts to Cybertron, right in front of the Plasma Energy Chamber that is about to be activated. However, an unexpected reaction from it leaves a number of Transformers from both sides (plus Spike and Daniel) on Nebulos. There, they face greater battles as the Nebulons who hate machines seek to overthrow the evil Lord Zarak and the Hive. The return home is, of course, suspended for those who have recently arrived on Nebulos. However, the Hive seems unstoppable, and only something truly radical could work against them.
