The Clown will do anything to push Hellspawn and turn him into the evil leader of the damned he was meant to be. Meanwhile, Terry is unjustly accused by Jason Wynn due to the private investigation Terry is conducting to expose Wynn for selling illegal weapons to outlaw countries. The accusation is clever and well-crafted. Terry is in serious trouble. To make matters worse, Wynn sends a company assassin, MERRICK, to kill Fitzgerald. Spawn is there every step of the way, watching over Terry and eliminating the assassins along the way. He doesn't want anyone else to kill Fitzgerald because Spawn wants him for himself.
