He turns to be the "new" Banri and sees in the mirror that Kōko gave him that he has cut his chin. Although it is not a serious injury, Banri feels bad. He discovers that the hidden picture of Linda and him is missing. He tries to go to the hospital by himself, but Nana finds him and takes him there. On the way home, he tells Nana that he had a wrong impression of her and that, in fact, she is very nice. She listens with her usual cold attitude. Once they arrive home, she hands him over to Linda, who accuses him of hitting Banri. Nana tells Linda that she just helped him and leaves Linda and Banri alone. Linda takes care of Banri for a while, giving him water and medicine. Banri reflects on the conflicting emotions he feels about Linda and Kōko. Kōko arrives with a bouquet of roses and accuses Banri of cheating, as he is alone in the apartment with Linda. Banri and Linda are taken by surprise until Kōko reveals that she is joking, tossing the bouquet aside. 2D-kun and Mitsuo arrive and jokingly argue about who caught the bouquet and who will get married first. Kōko reassures everyone present that she was really joking and that she knows Banri would never cheat on her. She becomes a bit exaggerated about the subject and is scolded by Linda, who tells her to stop. Kōko, in turn, scolds Banri for not telling her that Nana lives next to him, but she forgives him nonetheless. She thanks both him and Linda for taking care of Banri, but Mitsuo suspects that she is not sincere about her true feelings. They begin to argue, but Linda stops them for Banri's sake. Kōko admits that she was a little jealous that another woman took care of him before she did. Linda acknowledges that Nana took care of him first. Everyone discusses their summer vacation plans and decides to go to the beach together. Later that night, Banri wakes up and finds Kōko still there, watching over him. Kōko apologizes for not taking care of him properly and for making a fuss when he wasn't feeling well. She becomes depressed, telling Banri that she could never be a good girlfriend. Banri offers her a comforting hug and asks if she hasn't completely gotten over her cold. She assures him that she wouldn't have been able to come see him if that were the case. She admits that she wanted to go to the beach just with him and asks if he will take her when he gets better. She also states that "it doesn't have to be Paris," referring to her ideal place for "the first time." Banri promises that he will take her once summer vacation comes.
