After Dick (and Nina) win the dance competition, the episode concludes with a wordless pas de deux, accompanied by the orchestral piece "He Loves and She Loves" by George Gershwin, as a tribute to the final scene from the 1957 film, Funny Face, featuring Fred Astaire and Audrey Hepburn. Part of the film's choreography is recreated by Dick and Mary.
